An Eight-Part Video Essay & Podcast Series

The Christian–Muslim Threshold

Did Paul change the message of Jesus? An eight-part exploration of Paul, Jesus, scripture, and religious authority at the meeting point of Christianity and Islam.

From Ibn Hazm and tahrif to one God and one Lord, the shared table, God's law, and the Messiah, the series distinguishes historical evidence from theological judgment. Its Christian readings take Muslim objections seriously and invite careful engagement with primary texts.

The aim is honest disagreement: remaining faithful to our convictions while describing another person's beliefs accurately and treating our neighbours justly.

By Ersun Augustinus Kayra, an independent researcher and public ethicist based in Istanbul. Produced by The Threshold Journal.
